Position Summary

American Champion Aircraft is seeking an experienced MIG and TIG Welder to join our production team. This position involves precision welding of aircraft components, requiring exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and quality workmanship. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience with MIG and TIG welding required.

  • Must successfully pass the FAA-standard welding qualification test.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce precise, high-quality welds.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision following training.

  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, with occasional bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying as required.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety throughout the welding process.

  • Follow established welding procedures, specifications, and production requirements.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
