Hello, I purchased the sound deadening material for my belly pan from American Champion Aircraft. This is the foam material with the perforated black covering. The old material seems to have had some type of a sticky backing as far as I could tell when I removed it. The new material I bought does not have a sticky backing. What is the best way to adhere the sound deadening material to the belly pan?
Just bought a 67 GCAA Citabria that flipped ski landing in the winter, and the wings need repairing/replacing. I would love to add wing flaps to open up more landing areas in Alaska to gold hunt. Is it possible to put GCBC wings on a GCAA? Would think the extra foot of wing might lower the stall speed too. It's our first airplane...I know little about the maintenance side of planes, but I'm splitting the plane with a good friend who was a helicopter A&P for years. If its something more complicated, he could probably tackle it. Thanks in advance, appreciate any feedback or ideas! Tom
