Job Summary
The position entails the restoration of classic two-seat, tube-and-fabric aircraft, with responsibilities encompassing the disassembly, repair, and reassembly of various key components. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong mechanical aptitude, capable of maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the restoration process.
Primary Responsibilities

Conduct the disassembly, repair, and reassembly of aircraft components, ensuring adherence to both company and FAA standards.

Specific assembly tasks include but are not limited to:

Attachment of wings to fuselage

Boot cowl build-up and cowl installation

Assembly and installation of flight controls, landing gear, doors, windows, and covers

Installation of the engine and propeller

Perform additional restoration duties as directed, ensuring all work aligns with the project timeline and quality expectations.
Skills and Qualifications

Strong mechanical proficiency, with solid interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to accurately interpret and apply FAA-approved blueprints, planners, and procedures.

Demonstrated capacity to follow both verbal and written instructions in compliance with company and FAA procedures.

Proven ability to meet deadlines while consistently delivering high-quality, safety-compliant results.

Physical demands include standing for extended periods, manual lifting, and the use of fine motor skills and manual dexterity.
